Product description AWS 5.1 E6010 E6010 is an all position, cellulosic electrode that has a quick-starting, steady and deep penetrating arc. It produces x-ray quality welds in all positions. E6010 was developed for the pipe welding industry and is recommended for welding API grades A25, A, B, and X42 pipe and general structural fabrication. Typical Applications: general purpose fabrication, maintenance welding, out of position x-ray welds, construction and shipbuilding, pipe welding, vertical and overhead plate welding. Polarity E6010 runs on reverse polarity (Direct Current Electrode Positive). Process SMAW - Shielded Metal Arc Welding aka "Stick" welding. Position E6010 can be ran in all positions - flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead. Diameter & Size E6010 is available in 1 & 5 lb assortments as well as multi-packs. 3/32", 1/8", and 5/32" diameters are available.
