Product description 309LFC-O E309LFC-O is a self-shielding variety of ER309L stainless steel welding wire. It requires no shielding gas and works well when joining 309L to itself or other mild steels. Polarity 309LFC-O runs optimally on DCEP (Direct Current Electrode Positive). This is different than other flux core wire such as E71TGS which runs on DCEN. Process 309LFC-O is a flux cored stainless steel welding wire. It uses a globular transfer method that looks like the end of the wire is balling up. Position 309LFC-O can be used in the flat and horizontal welding positions. Diameter and Size 309LFC-O is available in .035" and .045" diameters in 1lb, 10lb, and 25lb spools.
