3M Temflex Splicing Tape 2155 with self fusing rubber backing, has rubber resin adhesive that offers optimized adherence. This tape is designed for low voltage electrical insulating and moisture sealing applications. It maintains the flexibility over a wide range of temperatures. Electrical insulating tape finds application in bolted connections, service drops, lightning connections, ground rod connections and motor leads. UL Listed and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant. 3M Temflex 2155 Rubber Splicing Tape is a conformable self-fusing rubber electrical insulating tape. It is designed for low voltage electrical insulating and moisture sealing applications. Temflex 2155 is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Listed for use up to 600 volts. • UL listed, File E129200 • Compatible with solid dielectric cable insulations • Self-fusing tape • Flexible over a wide temperature range Applications (600 volt maximum) • Bolted connections • Service drops • Lightning connections • Ground rod connections • Motor leads Installation: Temflex 2155 tape should be applied in half-lapped layers until desired insulation build up is reached. Stretch the tape to 3/4 of its original width during application for good conformability and to obtain a moisture tight seal. Temflex 2155 tape should be overwrapped for mechanical protection with half-tapped layers of either 3M Vinyl Electrical Tape or Temflex 1755 Cotton Friction Tape.
