Descripción

Product Description Established in Massachusetts in 1837, Lamson is proud to be the oldest cutlery manufacturer in the United States. Our name is synonymous with American artistry and carries with it a distinguished history—in 1869 newly-elected US President Ulysses S. Grant was presented a 62-piece Lamson dinner set at the White House. Pieces of this extraordinary gift remain in the nation’s capital on display at the Smithsonian Institution. Today, our talented artisans still handcraft each piece in western Massachusetts—an extensive selection of elegantly functional products, including laser-cut and forged cutlery, kitchen tools and trade tools. Over the years we have survived major world events, difficult financial times, and even a natural disaster that forced us to relocate from our original factory. Through it all, our spirit and commitment to American craftsmanship has not diminished. On the contrary, these experiences have inspired a renewed celebration of our heritage – the superior quality, service, and passion for excellence that would make our founders proud. With designs as diverse as the professional and household needs we supply, Lamson products are at once high-performing and stylish, traditional and innovative. As we move toward a third century in a business we’ve long exemplified, our mission remains steadfast: to aim for nothing short of American-made perfection. Experience products handcrafted with care and deep-rooted in tradition: Experience Lamson Amazon.com This is a durable, commercial-grade tool, made of thick, high-carbon stainless steel that runs right through the handle. The 3-by-5-inch head has a beveled edge for sliding easily under burgers, eggs, and pancakes. Three nickel-silver rivets secure the durable synthetic handle. The turner is 11 inches long overall, is dishwasher-safe, and carries a lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Características

• A SOLID BLADE FOR FOOD THAT NEEDS FULL SUPPORT: No slots, by design. The solid 3" x 5" stainless blade carries the whole underside of a cookie, a brownie, a pancake or a burger patty, so nothing sags through a gap and breaks apart mid-lift. The stainless handles oven, griddle.
• HARDENED AND TEMPERED, NOT STAMPED FROM SOFT SHEET: The blade is hardened and tempered after forming rather than punched out of flat sheet metal, so it holds its flat profile and its fine beveled edge instead of curling at the corners after a season on a griddle.
• GENTLE ENOUGH FOR NON-STICK WITH MODERATE PRESSURE: The fine beveled edge is precise rather than rounded, which is what makes it slide under baked goods, and on coated pans that means moderate pressure and smooth strokes rather than heavy scraping.
• ULTRA DURABLE HANDLE, DISHWASHER SAFE: The Midnight Black composite handle resists heat and moisture better than wood and goes on the top rack indefinitely without cracking, swelling or separating at the rivet. No oiling, no hand-wash discipline.
• WHAT ARRIVES: One Lamson 3" x 5" rectangular turner with Ultra Durable composite handle in Midnight Black, hardened high-carbon stainless blade with fine beveled edge, and stainless rivets. Handcrafted at Lamson's Massachusetts facility.
