This drum can be played by anyone with or without a musical background. Pre-tuned to the D Kurd scale with a central bass note and 8 surrounding notes (D3/ A3, Bb3, C4, D4, E4, F4, G4, A4). Each tongue produces a pitch that complements all others to complete a musical scale. This means you can never play a wrong note, making this drum perfect for non-musicians or sound healing therapy practitioners. The 8 surrounding notes on this drum also produce a complete octave with a high and low pitch for an immersive sound. Precision crafted to deliver beautiful, expressive melodies, these drums are fantastic for meditation, sound healing therapy, yoga or solo performances, and they are well-suited for ensemble use. Its sound port on the underside allows the frequencies to fill your environment around you, and it includes a silicone plug you can use to control the resonance and volume. Three silicone feet protect the drum on any surface. The drum includes wood mallets with soft rubber heads that draw out a full and tranquil tone. Also comes with a padded bag to protect during transport or storage.
